i'm really interested in this. I think it's a cliche for a man. Every where i see is that women are not satisfied because of the lack of foreplay (that maybe true but let's not blow this up). On tv and in each movie a man's idea of sex is just stick it in and take it out! It is not true i wonder if there is any true research there, what is percent of men who willingly engage in foreplay! And just to compare it to women!

In society everybody tend to see everything by media standards, but i wonder is there any true research done on who is truly more involved in sexual activity initiation?

Hm... it is kinda interesting... i'm not aware of any research like that..
but you can;t neglect it that is for sure.. Men and women are compliated in their different ways.

usually it is way more complicated to get women to their sexual desire,because we don't understand women as we probably should ( that would be an ideal society). We,men, try to measure women by our sexual needs. It has been a research done on that i will search the web to post a link. In a nutshell it says that it takes approximately 10 min for women to get in the state of sexual desire. It might be true or not....
And again i want to underline what is a woman sexual desire??? What perspective was used when this or any research is done about woman sexuality? A male centric research prevails and understand woman's sexual desire or drive one needs complete rejection of all male centered research.

but i like it ! We usually tend to take for granted everything especially in research.
They say they are doing research , but what we dont see is who is paying for that research!???

Example I like Female Sexual Dysfunction where pharmaceutical companies which pay for conferences in order to set up norm for this "disease". HRT being taken as a sole curing factor which as they say tie to this disease. That sucks lets put then all women on HRT (hormone replacing therapy) when they dont want cant cum, or not in a mood for sex. I think problem is more psycologycal and depends on much more factors than purely biology. Almost 75 % of research is crap!
