Today everybody use internet and computers in order to shop. With the growth of internet, online shopping got a new perspective and began prospering. Majority of people as well as newlywed couples are trying to save their time and money. Coupons, Deals and Discounts are vital part your life. Coupons make us decide to buy merchandise majority of which we probably wouldn't.

So internet shopping is becoming more and more famous as well as convenient. You get your mechandise delivered straight to your door, sometimes with free shipping. It is a very complicated and touchy subject for middle class and working class families. Newlyweds from those surroundings tend to have worst times after the weddings, deciding on lots of things such as: how to pay off their weddings, where to live, how many children to have etc. Majority of issies for these families are: decide and agree on their priorities as a family, as a whole. There is no individuality in families like that in terms of money.


1) Your Wedding Expenses

So your wedding day flew by and now you married. It was so marvelous and yet so fast, and now it comes a tough reality to pay it off. American tradition is that bride's family has to cover majority of expenses, but be realistic, today you have to be aware that it would be a tremendous stress if you put all that burden on one family. So newlyweds try to split those expenses with their parents, or most of the time have to pay for themselves.Average wedding in the U.S today is around 20000, and majority of newlyweds spend in the range of 14000 to 26000, which of course won't include honeymoon and purchase of the ring.

I, myself, with my newlywed wife had a wedding of 28000$ and that included our beautiful honeymoon trip to Europe. We had a small 80 people wedding and restaurant was paid off by guests, in my culture people bring money as a gift. It is a matter of big discussion of what you need gifts or money. Yes you pay off big part of your wedding, but you don't have anything to put in your new newlywed house. On a contrary when you receive gifts you can furnish you house with people's gifts  and then worry about paying off your wedding.

Advice is if you have your wedding expense debt on credit cards, or you owe somebody pay it off ASAP. Believe me once you will start thinking about having children or buying a new house it would cause such a distress to you. Better resolve this issue now, before all the rest of the issues didn't arise.

2)  Where to live?

Right now this is the most important problem all newlyweds encounter. With globally unfavorable economic situation we are trying to find out good deals on apartments, houses and so on. But the truth is that banks became more aggressive towards people and now in order to get a good mortgage you will need to go through triple check. Not to mention that majority of banks require 20% down.

For example I live in New York City. Everobody knows that this is one of the most expensive cities in the U.S in terms of living costs. Me and my wife decided to buy condo in brooklyn. We want to have a baby so we decided on 2 bedroom condo. Ok now this would be funny, not only apartments as well as houses dropped in price, their price is firm as it was five years in the row. So the price of 2 bedroom condo in Brooklyn is around 420000$. If you need to pay 20% to the bank out of your pocket as well as closing costs it would be a 100000$.

Of course it varies from state to state and i'm not saying that this is a rule but for me the trend is - living cost is an enormous part of newlywed life. It is tremendous. This cost varies from couple to couple depending on what newlyweds want, but everybody can agree that it might be a #1 expense of newlyweds.

3) Having a baby.

"Wow it would be wonderful to have a baby", my newlywed wife said. And I agree I want to have a kid. When you are ready - you are ready. When mentally you are prepared your rationality comes in play, and you start thinking about how much would it actually cost to have a child? You would probably be supprised to find out that in order to have a child from the moment it is born till he or she reaches 17 your expenses would be around 250000. You need to read this REPORT in DailyNews. I don't want to sound progmatic but it is big investment. Also let's not forget how emotionally satisfying is to have a baby.
